She writes on psychoanalysis, topology, posthumanism, mobile apps, techno-wilderness, networking drive, and non-metaphorical space. She holds a Ph.D. in Critical Theory, Film & Media Theory from the University of Missouri. Currently, she is working towards her second PhD at the Theory Centre of the University of Western Ontario. She is an editor (with Paul D. Miller aka DJ Spooky) of a collection The Imaginary App (forthcoming with the MIT Press in 2014); together they curate a traveling art exhibition under the same title. Her essays (in English, Polish, and Ukrainian) include “Veil and the Capitalist Discourse: A Lacanian Reading of the Veil beyond Islam”(2011), “Cyberbody as Drag” (2010), “Chris Marker versus Eadweard Muybridge” (2006), “Underground on the Roof: George Kuchar and American Underground Film” (2006). Since 2009, she serves as Associate Editor of (Re)-Turn: A Journal of Lacanian Studies. She curated a series of dance performances and exhibitions at the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York City.
