Translator and translation scholar, critic, graduated from the Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University (1999) and European College of Polish and Ukrainian Universities in Lublin, Poland (2005), and earned his Ph.D. from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (2005). His book-length publications include: Poeziâ u perekladi: “ukraїns’ka” Shymbors’ka (2006), bilingual Polish-Ukrainian anthologies of Wisława Szymborska’s selected poems: Wersja wydarzeń = Versìâ podìj (2005) and Może to wszystko = Može, ce vse (2011) as well as Józef Czechowicz’s Poema pro misto Lublyn (2005). He published poems, reviews, academic papers, scholarly and artistic translations in journals such as Suchasnist, Svito-vyd, Avzhezh!, Krytyka and Vsesvit, and multi-author volumes. Co-editor of the Report on the Condition of NGOs and Culture in Ukraine (2012). Once affiliated with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz, he is now an independent researcher.

His areas of interest include translation studies, translator and interpreter training, and postcolonial literature.

Currently he lives in Lublin, Poland.
